This makes a lightweight, hard and strong material that can be checkered for grip. The resulting black finished handle is durable and great looking. Brass pins are used to hold it all together. The perfect size blade for cutting, slicing, and chopping is about 4 inches, so Spyderco got the size of this knife just right. At a weight of 7.8 ounces, this knife won’t weigh you down either.
